Men on Men Art Competition
Laird Hotel and Midsumma in conjunction with SH2010 are pleased to present the 2010 Men on Men Art Competition.
As always, the competition is proudly a celebration of masculinity, and being the 30th year of the Laird, there’s no better way to show how proud we are of our brotherhood, mateship & sexuality.
Artworks must be of a masculine nature, and can be in the form of painting, stencil, street art, etching, drawing, photography, digital and mixed media.
Artworks must have been completed since June 2009 to be eligible.
Thanks to Evolution Publishing, the winning artist will get their image on the front page of MCV as well as an article in the same issue. And if that’s not enough exposure, thanks to Laird Hotel & Midsumma, the first prize also includes an exhibition at the Laird during Midsumma 2011, with all event fees covered.
Artwork will be displayed at Laird Hotel from Wednesday 9 June to Wednesday 30 June 2010.
The winner will be announced Saturday 19 June at Laird Hotel during the Mr. Australasia Bear Contest.
And of course there’s the Men on Men Open Day, Saturday 12 June when you get the chance to bring your female friends and/or family to the Laird to check it all out.
Application forms will be available via email & at the bar by Friday 30 April 2010. The closing date for entries is Saturday 5 June.
